So, you probably don't know this but there's a lot of shit going down in the Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg). Basically the Belgians are all very angry about the fact that the Dutch government bought up all the Dutch Fortis assets to get Fortis out of trouble (Fortis is Belgium's pride bank, it got into a lot of trouble because they overdid themselves buying the biggest Dutch bank. And now there's all this with the recession.). All the Dutchies are gleeful. So this has pretty much developed into Dutch-Belgian pissing contest number 134252. And I know this is facetious but I can't help but LOL. You should see some of the headlines ("Great Belgian Bank Dead!" "The Dutch cheekily take over Fortis!")
Oh Belgium, I think there are some other things you should worry about (Seriously, almost two years and still no coalition? Geez). Me and my dad have a bet about how long it'll take till it splits into Flanders and Wallonia. Let me tell you, we're not optimistic.

A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs & replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.

B) Tag 8 people to do this quiz & those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by & cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.

01. What is essential for your happiness?
Books, a sense of belonging, my family, rice.

02. What are you wearing at the moment?
Black blouse and a pair of jeans I've have since age 12. Yeah, I haven't grown much. :(

03. What is your favourite holiday spot?
Belgium! Get well soon, Belgium :(

04. What is your favourite scent?

05. What video games are you playing at the moment?
PHOENIX WRIGHT, BITCHES! How much do I love this game? A lot. It's not just the fact that it's totally fruity but the story line is awesome.

06. What do you drink the most?
Water. After that... Milk.

07. What color is your room?
Light blue. I used to hate it because everything my parents bought was light blue. Got over it. Oh, and I have a huge dark grease stain on the wall I repeatedly bump into.

08. Who was your first big crush?
That one dude, Ryn, from Pirates of Dark Water. Oh, real people? I was eight and the boy in question had brown hair, green eyes, and an IQ liek woah. Also, geeky. We were friends but I never told him I liked him. Lots of headdesking all around when I later (much later) found out he liked me too.

09. What did you want to be when you grew up?
Police officer. Prime minister of the Netherlands. Olympic cyclist. Doctor. Mad scientist.

10. What mythological figure are you?
Whew, hard one. Figures from mythology mostly have huge egos and no sense of humour, so, y'know. But I wish I could be Sleipnir :P

11. Do you ever get Deja Vu?
So many times. Hmm, this reminded me of the Matrix.

12. What 3 people do you invite to dinner?
Shakespeare, Cyrus the Great and Eleanor of Aquitane.

13.What is your current desktop?
A really pretty Loras/Renly drawing from the last asoiaf_exchange. It's like one of the two serious R/L drawings.

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
She's absolutely hilarious and nice and not full of herself. And if she is, at least it's in a funny way. :P

15. What are you afraid of?
Moths. :| It like this with me: Mosquitoes = red rage, Spiders = fascination, Moths = AAHH DAAAD GET THEM OUT OF HERE! They wriggle and make noise and they have horribly fat bodies.

16. What's your favourite item of clothing?

17. What are you into right now?
Asoiaf. Watchmen (I want movie. I want movie now). Mad Men. Phoenix Wright. All things Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. fandom_wank. Shakespeare.

18. What did you do today?
I had my viola audition. Died a thousand deaths. Got through. Studied. But hey, a few days ago I got a practicum muscles of the extremes of the body. Highlight: The tub filled with red liquid and FLOATING BODYPARTS. In the hallway! Oh, my bloodpressure.

19. What do you want?
To never have exams ever. A huge library. To have it be spring, it's too cold for me now. For this whole recession thing to stop.

20. What should you be doing right now?
Learning my anatomy :/

21. What's the meaning behind your LJ username/name/nicknames you go by?
Cloud Wolf was the father of the main character Twig from the Edge Chronicles, my favourite fantasy series when I was a kid. He was the captain of a flying pirate ship, he had a tortured soul and his relationship with Twig was awesome family drama. And he had a bitchin' moustache. skypirate was already taken on LJ so I went for the next best thing.

LOL Belgium is right :) I'm surprised they haven't split up yet -- I was kind of expecting it to happen last year.

Where in Belgium do you like to go on holiday? (I've only been to like *counts* four cities myself, but Oostende seems fun and Brugge is so very pretty.)

But I wish I could be Sleipnir :P

Four legs good, eight legs better? :)

Highlight: The tub filled with red liquid and FLOATING BODYPARTS. In the hallway!

!!! And this is why being a doctor never even crossed my mind as a possible career choice...

I said Belgium was going to last ten more years, my dad rebutted with five >:D

I love Ghent (I've been there three times) and Brussels (two times). Antwerp is pretty but I only went there a day or so and you could notice the tension between different ethnic groups :/ I have been to some other cities and I definitely want to see Brugge. And the Ardennen is pretty too.

We were the last class and wet bodyparts have to be saved in formaldehyde. I just wish they didn't put the tub next to the jackets, it was too much of a surprise. One guy oh so nicely remarked that it looked like soup DX

I've never yet been to Brussels, actually, though I've been to the suburbs of it, where my brother-in-law lives. Only had a couple of hours in Ghent and want to see more of it -- it felt like a lovely city. Most of my time was spent in Antwerp (a couple of weeks at a time), since that's where my mother-in-law lives. I didn't see any problems myself, but have heard a lot about the tension, as you say :( On my MIL's street, there are signs on many houses and in shopfront windows proclaiming "ZONDER HAAT STRAAT" (which I'm probably misspelling), and I'm sure they're there for good reasons.

Have you seen the movie In Bruges? We watched it pretty much just for the title, but it turned out to be a really good movie (though rather violent). The funny thing was, they talk about the Brugge swans there, and finding the swans was my obsession both times we want back to Brugge (before seeing this movie, of course), because they were the thing I remembered most clearly from our first visit.

Formaldehyde-body parts soup! Yum... :P

You can see those ZONDER HAAT STRAAT (correct!) signs everywhere, they're pretty cool. I think we noticed because we parked close to the Jewish and Muslim quarter of the city , in the suburbs. It's a lot easier to notice the tension then.

I haven't seen that movie but it did make me laugh that the subtitle said "(That's in Belgium)" XD

The Question is would Brussels be part of Wallonia or Flandern, cause geograficly it's in Flandern but the inhabitains are mainly French speaking, right?

I'm a bit concerned that you want to be a horse.

Yep, Brussels is problem, all right. I think it would be independent if it splits up.

LOL, it was a joke XD I wouldn't mind owning Sleipnir, though.

Haha, LOL, so I'm not the only one. I was a big fan of the art style they used. Yeah, I kinda want to watch it again, but that might turn out to be a disappointment. I also really like the flying monkeys.

Yes, that one. It's sooo pretty, and the armour really impressed me.

I used to hate it because everything my parents bought was light blue. Got over it.

That's why I always hated the color pink. ;)

!! That would've been even worse that blue. At least it was light pink and not hot pink? I hope?

#9 - I think you would be a very cute mad scientist!

#14 - Uh, I am going to choose to take this as nothing but a fantastic compliment. :D
