So I already failed posting about something that makes me happy. Ah well.
Day Two in things that make me happy:
I like my uni and people in it. Just in general.
As for fannish stuff, I really like good (fan) art. I recently finished a Jeeves and Wooster book and I just had to check if Rule 34 is true. LOL, it is, Jeeves/Wooster fanart exists XD. Also, it's all cute and fluffy fanart, haha. In case you didn't know, these books are about a clueless British gent and his genius butler. Here's a very awesome fanartist who did this, this and this. She also did this pretty cool tired!House and coffeeproviding!Wilson fanart and this very swirly Samurai Champloo fanart. All art is worksafe.
Also, I have cracked. I'm going to watch Merlin even though I'm generally suspicious of Arthurian adaptations and even though the advertising gave me a BBC Robin Hood vibe (Robin Hood sucks). But, well, I can be pretty shallow and the actors are kind of hot. Also, people say it has some gay vibes? I'm down with that. Fanart that finally made me decide: this and (don't click this if you're at work and can't handle blood and homoeroticism) this. Ninjas of Camelot made me lol.

01. What are your nicknames?
Saar, Saartje. Oh, and Stuud (Dutch word for girl nerd)
02. How do you style your hair?
Fairly long, in a braid or a plain chignon. My hair's too curly for a ponytail, and I'm to comfort addicted to bother with loose hair when it's not a special occasion.
03. Do you have any phobias?
Moths frighten me. I hate mosquitoes. And I'm scared of tripping on the stairs and smashing my teeth on the floor. Yeah.
03. What's new in your life right now?
Nothing really. Everything just started to calm down.
04. How many colours are you wearing now?
Two. Dark denim and green.
05. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Mostly introvert. I can get along with people but I can't deal with people around me all the time.
06. What are you doing while filling out this meme?
Worrying about my exam on friday, downloading tv shows for the holidays.
06. What was the last book you read?
The Farthest Shore by Ursula LeGuin. She's a wonderful writer with a beautiful style and I love her themes. Also, as far as crown princes go, Arren>>>>Rhaegar.
07. Do you nap a lot?
No. I'm jealous of my dad, he naps all the time. I just can't.
08. What music do you enjoy listening to?
Everything, really. I love classical music and rock and pop and I tend to like everything the least bit catchy. Oh, current music addiction is still the Manic Street Preachers. Smart Brit Rock, ftw.
08. Who is one person you wish you could be more like?
Hrrm. My uncle Siavash who now lives in Canada. The smartest, kindest, friendliest person I know. He truly cares about people and about freedom and equality, that's why he joined the Student Revolution. The fact that he's such a well adjusted person even though the regime put him in jail for five years when he was 18 is amazing. Also, he's a computer programmer who travels around the world. Also, he's good with computers.
09. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Racial intolerance? Always a issue for me.
10. What's your favorite dessert?
Italian iceeee. In 50 different flavours, you gotta love that.
11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Half an hour. I don't really like to fuss around. An hour if I'm washing my hair *sigh*
11. If you had to get new pet tomorrow, what kind of pet would you choose?
A rat. They're so cute. Dogs are too big for me, even though I like them.
12. What websites do you visit daily?
LiveJournal, the ASOIAF board, fandom_wank and email. I try to stay away from TVTropes. That place just sucks you in.
12. What are your favorite forms of physical exercise?
Cycling.
13. Do you ever think about the race of the people on your flist (who you've never met in real life)?
Sometimes.

No. I wish I could write well.
14. Do you like to clean?
Yes, actually. Just not my room. >_>

All those Christmas songs they keep playing on the radio. :(

Hou Holland Schoon. "Keep Holland Clean", it's about a boy with a black friend and a skinhead brother. Sadness ensues.

Duh, I play the viola :P And I suppose some other things too.
18. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Lemon.
18. What is your least favorite thing to do that you have to do everyday?
Getting out of bed after I woke up. My bed is so warm and comfortable and aargh

Holidays with my parents and little brother. When family visits. Second and third year of secondary school.
20. What are you most looking forward to in the coming month?
Holidays. Jesus, I haven't had a proper holiday since summer vacation. I wants.
