This is so embarrassing...

You people might or might not have heard about the Eurovision Song festival. It's an absolutely camptastic songcontest where each European country (except Italy, the smart bastards) send a music act to represent their country. I've been watching it since I was seven years old (My first was the last time Britain actually won/got high scores, LOL. ETA: OMG I just discovered it was Katrina and the Waves! Awesome!) and it's rather noticable to EVERYONE that the music sucks more than ever (so so badly, yet I keep on watching. It's like a trainwreck. Some examples: The horror that was Azerbaijan last year (It's an angel and a devil singing in a highpitched voice). W00t, I mean, just look at that. Spain was pretty lulzy, but so bad And if you want just plain bad without lulz here's Germany.)

Which is why I liked the fact that Anouk, a Dutch singer of great reknown, decided she might give it a try. This is Anouk with my favourite song, Nobody's Wife:

Not bad, eh?
Western European countries have been complaining that OMG the Eastcommies have been cheating by voting on each other, and that's why countries like Great Britain, The Netherlands and Germany always lose. Yeah right, IF THIS IS WHAT'S GOING TO COME WE FUCKING DESERVE IT *headdesk*: Meet the horror that is Toppers in Concert, our contestant.

It's going to be delicious to see them get zero point (though they'll probably scrounge some points together for their ginormous shows). I wonder what horrors other countries will cook up for us.

Pff, Sweden never cook up horrors for Eurovision, we always send really good songs. I can't recall Holland having more than one good song in all the years I've watched it though :P

Hey this girl is really good, I hope she gets to represent you.

Sweden gave us ABBA, therefore it can do no wrong. They also had this lulzy song The Worrying Kind by Ark which just cracked me up.
How long have you seen it? The Netherlands has been just freaking horrible for the last couple of years (But not as bad as the Great Britain. Now they are getting embarrassing, which is a shame because they used to send great acts). We had some nice songs when I was around nine but that's it. For the record, I'm 18. That's a long period of sucky songs.

Yeah, Anouk's good and she's really populair in the Netherlands, has been for ten years, but she's not representing us. It's Toppers, in the last link in my post. They're also populair but more for having spectaculair shows and for the lulz. NOT for having good music, IMO.

I've been watching it since it was in Stockholm the last time, in 2000. So I've seen it eight times. I know I didn't watch it one year because I had gotten a new Harry Potter book, and HP is much more important than Eurovision.

The Worrying Kind is one of my mum's favorite songs, lol.

Yes they are, I remember this song that was called teenage life or something like that was like the most awful I've heard. Malta is my favorite Eurovision land, on the whole time I've been watching them thry've only had two sucky songs.

Teenage life, LOL, was that with all those schoolgirls hopping around in a classroom? XD It was so awful it was hilarious.

P.S. I have a question. You're a Robb fan, right? I've made this icon with this model for Robb but I want to ask, does it look like a Robb? Just wondering.

Yep I'm a Robb fan.

Well I've always pictured Robb with longer hair, but besides that I think he's rather similar to my picure of Robb.
