Okay, so guad and her easter egg contest on westerosorting have driven me mad. Finding the eggs? 15 minutes. Solving them? Done, in a pretty short time. EXCEPT for one teeny tiny scrambled word. Ah well, guess I'm not the asoiaf nerd I though myself to be.

Also, have been watching Kings, because I was curious to see what they would do with story of Saul and David (+ Jonathan).

Kings is a television drama series airing on NBC and Citytv, based on the Biblical story of King David in a kingdom that culturally and technologically resembles the present-day United States.

It's pretty cool so far. Beautiful setting. Saul (played by Ian McShane) is pretty damn epic (so is his wife). I like what they did with Goliath, Jesse (He's a she!) and Michelle sure does a lot more that her Biblical counterpart Michal (though, you know, a rock would have more presence than Michal). I also love the two guards, nice bit of comic relief.
Anyway, I feel gratified about Jack (=Jonathan) being gay (and I did a doubletake when I recognized him, it's Carter from Gossip Girl! XD). Clearly I am not the only one who sees the subtext in the Bible. Heh. I was so surprised I had to check the Wikipedia Kings page, but yeah, apparently it's true. I wonder where they're going with it.

You have no idea how much I want to, like, psychically beam you the answer to the last scramble. (Anyway, as Tyrells, I feel our house should get an exemption from having to work individually on this. We are *supposed to* scheme together. ;)

Do you have a link to the quiz that put you in Tyrell? I want to give that one a shot, too, see if the results make more sense. I don't see you as Starkish or Tully-ish, but I do remember someone at westerosorting commenting that they couldn't remember whether you were a Stark or a Tully -- so there's something there, I guess! :)

Haha, lol, that's okay. I've pretty much given up and I'm okay about that. Still, shame about the points for our house XD

Yeah, I get the Stark/Tully remarks quite a lot. I don't necessarily disagree, though.

Heh, you weren't kidding about the poor spelling and general inanity of that quiz (and the question marks at the end of sentences that weren't phrased as questions irritated the hell out of me, too)... but it put me in Tyrell, so I forgive it :)

Oh, and I meant to say -- congratulations on the apprenticeship! I cannot say that I comprehend your enthusiasm for watching people slice up eyeballs (or whatever it is they do... >.>), but it certainly sounds like a cool opportunity!

On the scramble... the way I arrived at the answer was by looking for words I could find in the name for my silly anagrams thing (like "BORE" or "OLD" or whatever) and eventually... Eureka moment :)
