So... the new Doctor in Doctor Who has been announced and it's... Matt Smith. Never heard of him, but he's apparently the youngest Doctor-actor ever (26). Ah well, I hope he does okay, though it also depends on Steve Moffat, I suppose (but I think he's a better writer than Russel T Davies anyway). David Tennant has been a good Doctor even thought I definitely had my problems with the 10th Doctor and lost my interest in the end.
ETA: LOL at fandom_secrets for already making a 11th Doctor Wank!Bingo card. I should check out Fandom Wank tomorrow to see if anything happens.
ETA 2: The wankiness has already started! Hooooly shit.

I have only one New Year resolution this year: Make my teenage brother shave, dammit. He has this vague fuzz and it looks like he has dirt on his face. Here's an actual conversation today:

He's definitely the creepiest! But he is actually one of my favorites -- not top 5 or event top 10 probably, but a favorite, because of how supremely creepy he is.

Yeah, I know, I think Vorbis is an awesome character but I can't say I have any character I dislike.

Yeah, I noticed that, the discworld ones are pretty easy, there really isn't much spectacular shipping going on there (I do like Magrat/Verence and Tiffany/Roland in earlier books, because Wintersmith is the only pterry book I felt meh about)

Yeah, I was kind of meh about Wintersmith too... except for Horace the cheese, which was kind of awesome.

Well, there's Carrot/Angua, too, which I somewhat like, but more for the Carrot side of it. And I agree Magrat/Verence was quite cute. Oh, oh, and I totally forgot -- Granny/Mustrum Ridcully! Part of what makes Lords and Ladies my (I think) favorite Witches book. In fact, I should totally go add them to my answer re: het ships.
